We had just arrived in Cornwall and stopped off for a rest.

No Sheila, not yet, we were just passing through Newquay that morning, but we've come to live down here so I'm sure we'll get round to it soon. After the 30th Sept, all the beaches become dog friendly, (till next Easter) so we will able to go on all the ones we want! I'll look Jolly Poke up online and put it on the list.

You've chosen a great place to live, Mazzie. We found Jolly Poke last year when we stayed at Crantock, next door to a couple who let us visit their garden which is sometimes open for the NGS . . beautiful spot.

Have you found Jolly Poke beach yet? Next door to Newquay (to the west) - usually deserted, and dog friendly!
