One of the 3 alpine ones that I have. No yellow though.

Does this produces a black round seed/seed pot?

The seed pods are round and green when young on the alpine Sisyrinchium, then dry out to ? I can't say I've seen any pods on Biscutella, I usually propagate it by division.

I looked up Sisyrinchium and it's the one my parents used to have, although the base colour was white. Flowers are so tiny and looks so sweet. I remember seeing them self-seed everywhere.

My dark blue is everywhere, they all look the same without flowers, so don't want to thin the wrong ones unintentionally.

It must be difficult.

I have some that have decided to locate themselves and started popping up in the lawn. They seem to grow only where they please and have become wild. Have heard them called different names...my fave is "Baby Blue Eyes".

"Baby Blue Eyes"--What a sweet name!
I don't mind having these popping up everywhere in my garden. Not at all!! Love to get some seeds.

I think it might be late for seeds, Tommy, as we've had a killing frost. I will look and if I can find some I will send the bulb/root if you want?

Awww...sorry Tommy...I tried looking for it. It is growing among grasses and I will have to make a much closer inspection as it looks like a tuft of grass when not in bloom or with seed. I'm still looking. :-)

Awww...sorry Lori...that you had to use your precious time to look for the seeds.. Please don't do the inspection too much..or you'll hurt your eyes....!
