This plant is completely green in summer and around this time it starts to turn red. Interestingly not all leaves at the same time. In 2 weeks it will be completely fiery red.

I planted it this summer at the foot of the old garage.
I am now quite happy with my choice.

It has no flowers Katarina and it is plain green year round but the fall (autumn) colour of its leaves is fantastic. Highlight on our property in October.

But on the label I have got with the plant there are flowers, which look like lacecap hydrangea. It even has similar trade name....

What I have noticed is a little wee "grapes"( the grape family) at this time of the year so flowers must be inconspicuous as I have never noticed them and we have lots of this vine. Corner of the house is covered with it and the long concrete wall.

A Climbing Hydrangea -Hydrangea anomala subsp. petiolaris is a beautiful climber. With flowers you would love.

I apologize for misleading information. I have checked the label of mine "vine" today and I found I have Schizophragma hydrangoides Roseum, which really has beautiful "lacecap hydrangea like" flowers and also have different colours of leaves in the autumn. It is ideal climber for shady areas. Here is the link with more information, if you are interested:

I do not have this plant but I have Climbing Hydrangea.
The one you have is called False Climbing Hydrangea and believed to be "more sophisticated" than the one I have. I love the pink one (roseum.) I believe that it does not change its leaves to red in autumn. But I might be wrong.
I hope it will perform well for you as it seems to be a beautiful vine.
