Working on a Rock wall at the stream

it looks nicely tranquil, but then, the water level's down! how much of the stream do you intend to bank??

Hi Fran! the bank on the right hand side of the photo is an old wall, (I think)..and I'm just removing all the alluvia to uncover the rocks and do a some reinforcement. Will place the nice rich soil back at the top of the slope and plant some soil retaining plants. I would like to finish this before the snow flies but there are so many other tasks that I need to do first. Nothing new in that...just have to keep going and hope for the best. There's always next spring...hope it doesn't get washed away.
