Lol, Fran, they are asters. I have just reminded that date, as my dad was one of the first in Czechoslovakia who have got penicillin on pneumonia which he had in winter 1944. The first synthetic penicillin was produced in Prague in autumn 1944 and Thomas Bata bought immediately several batches for his workers and their families.
