Meanie is it as tender as it looks? K not sure I can afford to start collecting Salvias.....far too many beauties..thanks Motty .B-)

I'm unsure as to the hardiness DD as this is the first year that I've grown it. According to my RHS "bible" it is supposedly one of the hardier ones though..............

I have the Salvia Involucrata mine has come through several winters I couldn't say if mine is bethellii ,it looks very similar I must put a photo on , I make extra plants by taking side shoots off at this time of the year ...

I've taken a few cuttings today just in case.

Good idea Meanie! the weather has changed from hot and sunny to cold and very wet, it will be a big shock to some of our plants.
