This tree has a a very fragrant flower which is used to make perfume, not by the common name of the tree. It grows very quickly in it's native tropical rainforest of the Philippines. Here is somewhat slow. Photo taken Sept. 29, 2014 in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA.

It's not a hardy tree at all. This is one that would be very borderline in the Bay Area. You never know until you try it, though. This tree can be very expensive.
