This plant isn't supposed to be hardy all the rest that I grew from seed many years ago have long gone but this one plant comes back every year, must be in a very sheltered spot, only tiny flowers but I really like it, especially that flower colour against the grey foliage :-)

No Driad it's a desert plant, a member of the Mallow family, it gets to around 4ft tall,the stem is quite woody, I chop it back every spring and it re grows from the base, amazing this one plants survived those two cold winters we had.

I did grow another variety too, 'Los Brisas', which was a mixture of pinks and white very pretty don't know why its not more widely grown, I must check my seed box can't believe I wouldn't collect seed! :-)
