Wish I had done that with ours now, so many of ours hated the heat and went all brown and shrivelled up.

This one got the chop because I hard pruned the Honeysuckle that it was growing through but I will definitely do it again next year. A couple of others are full of bud so maybe a bit too late now, they were cut back in late August. July would seem to be the best time to do it.
