Greenhouse this winter and then plant out next spring.

I love trumpet-shaped flowers! I had an episcia years ago that was fiery orange-red, with silvery iridescent green leaves. going to look for both the lophospermum and the episcia. What a beautiful plant. and it's so satisfying to see something you've planted as a little seed turn into a thriving thing of beauty.

I try to grow most of my plants from seed now Lori. The Episcia looks interesting!

I love them, Meanie! The last variety that I remember having was called "Chocolate Soldier". Will have to wait to go to Ottawa to buy tropicals but they're both on my list.

I used to have a few Gesneriads but gave them away when I moved. This is the only one that I have now..............
