My Clerodendrum vine is blooming now. It was from small cuttings from a friend last year and has gotten very large. Photo taken Oct. 24, 2014.

This one blooms very well here (it's really tropical). My friend's vine blooms year-around (these plants were from two cuttings from his vine). I still haven't gotten my C. quadriculare to bloom... and it's been in the ground for 4 or maybe even 5 years. It's in a horrible locations, though.

I have C.quadricolor in a pot on a pedestal You can see the purple undersides of the plant..a nice contrast to the green foliage plants around it,and a red Mandavallia vine next to it.
So,if you never get a bloom, consider potting it up.

I'll have to dig it up and put in a new locations where it'll get more water and sun.

Ahhhhh, thats one I wanted to order. Its one of the better bloomers. C.quadriculare (?) might be not so good...and in winter yet to come.
