Catkins on the Garrya

I have a feeling this aught to be planted against a fence or wall as it is growing sideways instead of upright.

Pleased my baby one has lots of catkins too. I planted mine against the back wall HB, it has small branches all the way up it's 4ft height, think I may take the lower ones off so it can spread higher up.....love the catkins!

I think they like growing against a fence/wall, dont they - I would love one but not quite hardy enough for my area.
