pond end

Finally got fed up of tripping over all the old bricks I kept digging up; thought, as I’d shortened the raised bed for the pond, I could build a add-on for some plants that might act as windbreak.
As they’re butted on to, rather than built-in, to the pond wall, it left half-brick gaps every other row; found enough lumps of s tone or concrete to help support the brick above.
Not sure what I’m going to plant in it yet: I’m a bit wary of multi-planting, cos you can’t get one plant out without disturbing the others. I might put grasses in but leave them in their pots so each can be moved or rotated without disturbing the others.
