That's strange,Julia,I always surmised they grow anywhere..I wonder why you have a problem?

These are going to be pruned in the spring Sandra. I want to get them into a nice shape. I suppose I'll have to forfeit the berries for next year :(
I'm sorry to hear you can't grow them Waddy. I've tried several times, and these are the first ones I've had success with.

I might just try again, Sandra, perhaps in a pot this time. Hywel, I'm pleased to read I'm not the only one who has had problems in the past.

Good idea to try growing in a pot,Julia..I'm sure it would be ok,and then you could plant it out at some point..wearing strong thorn proof gloves!

I think I'll have to leave it in a very large pot, Sandra. I've hardly any room left in my garden now!

I like things in pots. You can move them around and put them in different places for a change :o)

I love this one Hywel..Mine is only just recoveing from a severe pruning,two years ago,but I have berries lower down again now..not anywhere near as many as yours,but it will have,eventually...I hope !
