This was a cutting from a friend named Alan in October 2011. Bloomer said it should be 'Phoebe the Hebe' rather than Alan! He is no longer with us, but lives on in my garden :o)

I can imagine it would be! I spoke on the phone with a Glaswegian lady today, she says her accent has mellowed after 20 years of living in Brighton, to me it was pure Scottish ... lovely! :o)
