I love home-grown papayas; however, hate store-bought ones! The exception is the red Caribbean papaya (they taste halfway decent from the store). Most grocery store papayas are picked too green and can never produce their optimum sweetness. Most people I talk to don't like papayas because they don't really know how sweet and juicy they're suppose to taste.
I grow three papaya varieties: 'Maradol'; 'Red Caribbean'; and 'Thai Dwarf'. I used to grow tons of the Hawaiian 'Solo' variety and need to plant more. I think the "Thai Dwarf' papaya plant is the most beautiful! It has exceptionally
large leaves.
My home-grown papayas taste almost sweet like candy.

Stan,
Okay, now I get it. LOL! Actually, the sky was a little white with high clouds. Typically, the sky is such a dark, clear blue.
