Yes Hywel, it's my old Bash&Lomb scope from med school. I have modified the condenser with the wonderful Rheinberg optical stainer which makes those denizens of the not so deep visible in brilliant colors as opposed to the dark field illumination's black and white tv appearance. The other scope to the left is a stereomicroscope which I use for looking at gross objects such as aphids on a stem giving live birth or spider mites on a leaf..moth eggs hatching...etc..

How interesting :)
I had 2 small microscopes, but gave them to a charity shop when I went through a phase of 'de-cluttering' (It was when I moved - although it was to a bigger house, so the decluttering was unnecessary !)
I wish I had kept them.
I don't do 'de-cluttering' any more.
