Ah. The fruit when ripe tastes of plum and banana and is sweet (so I read).

Meanie, in your pictures (from2011) of Thunbergia mysorensis I can see something like seed pods. I can see these on the ones in our garden here too and wonder if they would germinate. What do you think?

The ones in my photo are unripe pods. T.gregorii has similar pods which are light brown in colour and go very hard - T.mysorensis may well be the same. Ripe seed is black

I know in South America they feed the fruit from the queen palms to the pigs. lol! :>)
The fruit here attracts a lot of rats...this is another reason why the fruit cluster is cut off.
