Plumeria in the village is blooming

I've never gotten a bloom before late July. That's about a month after daily 80f and 60f.(26C and 16C) temps settle in.
I really can see walking around with a cup of coffee every morning where you are. Doesn't it also mainly rain at night? leaving days sunny and warm?
Any large Ficus tree's?..or should I say a request for them in photos?-lol.

That is about the temperature here Stan. Year round.
This is the dry (and cold) :-) season so no rain what so ever. The rainy season starts at the end of May and I think the "it rains only at night" is theory from past. Although I have never been here in summer but I am keeping in touch with some friends here.

Klahanie,I was watching the telly and saw a program on an American/British couple moving from Paris - they like to travel- to San Miguel de Allende. It reminds me of your photos from Lake Chapala.
Those are great climates..Papaya's with tree trunks, and yet just cool enough for Willows and ivy. Buildings every color of the rainbow.

San Miguel de Allende is very popular with ex-pats. It is at even higher altitude than our area. San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful colonial city on the hill. I believe that they are between 6200 to almost 7000feet depending on where in the city you are. One has to acclimatize to it. We were visiting one winter and prefer our climate here.It was just much colder there. . It is also more sophisticated area than around here. I can see why it would appeal to people from Paris. They can be living there in luxury for much less.. Around Lake Chapala (5000feet) are just bunch of charming Mexican villages .

That's beautiful. My trees in the ground just lost their leaves about a week ago. They won't leaf out until about lat March or April. However, with this being said I have seen some Plumerias around town which have leaves and some flowers. The weather has been warm to very warm the last three weeks (the exception was the first 3 or 4 days of the first of the year when it was cold).

The trees in our yard do not have leaves either and I do not know if I will see any flowers before we leave.

It appears the tree in the village is on a different blooming-cycle. Most likely in Mexico the plumeria trees bloom in spring and through the rainy season (summer).
