The new border behind the pond.

I've used some bricks to make a small retaining edge to plant the acers, heucheras, iris and grasses behind, the edge is in place to retain them there so that the soil between the edge of the pond and the bricks is to put down gravel for a path.

Its already all planted! creeping jenny between the rocks to soften the edges into the water, heucheras, two acers, a wisteria and variegated grasses and iris all also along the back! then a gravel path in between.

I notice that the bridge is quite damp in places; I assume from the wind blowing the water from the feature. is it slip-proof?

Its from where the snow had been on, yeah its been treated with the stuff we put on our decking.
