Very attractive fish Paul, ..... I guess those of us who can't get out into the garden in the winter, need a 'winter hobby". I guess mine is 'indoors DIY'.

Thanks, Paul, for adding detail explaining the types of fish ... do they need different foods ... variations in their diet ?

You are welcome. Most of them are omnivores. I feed them a variety of frozen fish, krill, shrimp and plants.

Thanks ... so you have to continually monitor the quality of the salt water ... ?
... and the temperature ?

Yes, it requires a very good filtration system and partial water change about once a month. A hydrometer will keep the salinity constant and a heater with thermometer for temperature. Also you should know which fish will cohabit ate.

Please identify the varieties of the fish when you can ... they are fascinating ... and it would be interesting to ID them. Thanks.
