Recycle Your Old Belts

Strange, you may say. However with an old belt and leather hole punch you can make a very useful, strong and adjustable length strap. Cut to length (if required). I have used them on numerous occasions. Examples: 1. Tying a tree to a stake 2. Supporting a low hanging branch on a shrub or tree. 3. Holding trellis work onto a car roof rack. 4 Tying bundles of canes together, to name a few uses.

Thank you Carole and Junna. Just remembered, I also use a couple of these straps on a roll of lino in the garage. This gets rolled out onto the patio, when I am BBQ-ing. Saves getting any fat splashes on the patio flags.

Thanks Hywel, I can guarantee, if you make a couple of these, you'll find a use for them.

I've got a few old belts that are too small for me now so I could use those :)
