Quisqualis indica also known as Rangoon creeper

This large, fast growing vine starts its life as a bush. It also develops spines as it ages. Flowers are fragrant and open white. As they age they turn pink and then to red.
The name ‘Quisqualis’ means “what is this”. This one is in my neighbours garden and looks more like a bush but I have seen it as a vigorous vine as well.

It is interesting with the multicolour flowers.
