In Tagaytay, Highlands , next to our town, it has a cold weather, there's a lot of hydrangeas, different colors , very fantastic and forget to ask my friend how many times it blooms for a year, maybe it depends on the weather , been there last week my friend give it to me, two color pink and white :-)))
Thanks, Stan :-)

Ah,ok. THAT's where you took the photo. I've heard the mountains can get a few cool nights in winter from the Siberian winds...but I didn't think it stayed cool enough, long enough, for deciduous plants. I bet, they can still grow coconut palms also...just grow a little slower-lol.

Now,I'm stumped...how do Hydrangeas grow in the Philippines?..are they evergreen? Bloom all year?
I have seen photos of them growing in the very mild Canary Islands...but that's still not tropical as most of the Philippines.
