Thank you. Your pictures are interesting.
I used to call this one Stapelia but when I found its correct name, I discovered it was Orbea. They are close relations.
It hasn't flowered for several years but this year it's had two flowers.
I've got another type but it has never flowered.
I hope yours flower soon.

I thought so Hywel . They look very similar but not completely same. You captured the flower very well in your photos. In a way it is more interesting flower than Stapelia's.

Not easy to keep. They can get a virus very easily that causes the whole plant to look like it has measles. Rot also,is not hard to avoid.
They can take cool temps in winter.
That's an especially nice plant. Mine never got near that size. Grow, die back,grow...then winter rains years ago got it.

I don't give it much attention, although I've had it about 20 years.
When it grew big, I split it, and now I have three.
The other two haven't flowered.

Must be a cousin of our Stapelia on the terrace. I posted several pictures last year but unfortunately it did not bloom this year. I cut several pieces and repotted and they are all doing well but none is blooming for me :-(
Interesting plant is not it?
