The like is only for the bird ... poor thing out in all that cold muck :( It must be very difficult for wildlife in your country at the moment.
I hope the bird survives ....

I always keep my feeder full for him.

Hi Alan, thank you. Yes, we are in the middle of another storm even as I type this..

Oh dear, it's cold here, but not that cold. 5-8 degrees C. getting even milder towards the weekend.

Same here; this storm will end sometime tomorrow but weekend is looking pretty good.

Great contrast and good picture for Merry Christmas cards. We do not have Cardinals on Vancouver Island and we do not have snow either. Glad to hear that the winter is almost over for you.

I wish we had those lovely Cardinals here,they really are beautiful..Glad you are expecting better weather at the weekend..Hopefully for us too,if we can get rid of this biting wind..

Thanks Sandra. We are in the final throws of winter, but we have a messy storm going on now. It's something between snow/rain/sleet.

When Spring finally gets here, the Cardinals will surely let me know. The are wonderful songbirds.

What a shame you can't post them singing Paul. Fingers crossed for better weather for everyone.
