Anemone blanda

I looked at mine this morning Dawn they are not quite all out like yours they are in the shade under a cob nut tree ....

Do these naturalise in your garden Dawn ? Mine have reverted to the wild form ...

Mine are just starting spread a bit this year too , I love the way they glow in the sun :-)

The wild one is the Wood Anemone ... or Wind Flower
It's called Anemone nemorosa

But now, thinking of it, they can't be the same species if they have different names (this one is Anemone blanda)

Mine are white, and that's what made me think they were the same.
They are probably wild ones that have seeded themselves into my garden.
