Mangos are starting to form

Yes, that's about the right timing. The ones here which are flowering and setting small fruit will ripen in late August and through September. Some might ripen even earlier in August.

The typical ripening for a mango after flowering is between 4 to 5 months (sometimes less or more, depending on the weather).
