An old Primula hybrid holds on by a slither

That is another beauty Bjs. I noticed that the plants at the SRGC Kincardine show had quite big pieces of stone supporting the leaves. You are using stones larger than 10mm grit on this one. Is this a way of preventing the leaves from rotting under the halo of flowers? I watched the first Beechgrove garden on iplayer last evening. They showed quite a lot of the SRGC show.
