Pink Cherry tree flowering at Toll Cottage on Hartford Road. Every year in April this tree puts on a spectacular show! As the tree is still there I should imagine it looks just the same this year as it did in April 2014. I haven't been down there for a few weeks so I haven't seen it.

This tree really is a "show stopper"! The flowers are a very vivid pink & with so many blooms on the branches the tree is truly spectacular! :-))

Balcony:
From a distance it does look very much like the tropical Tabebuia impetiginosaa (Pink Trumpet trees) which are so common here.

That's a huge cherry tree! We have a few tiny little old trees in Balboa Park; however, they bloom the ending of January and don't grow very well here. It' too warm to hot in winter.
