Lathraea clandestina (purple toothwort)

Ooh, its getting really big Dawn! Will it ever cause the Willow any harm?

It is slowly spreading Karen. Was hoping it would move to other trees. I dont think it affects the host tree.

Rather attractive, Have a few parasites in the garden besides Jamie but none that good looking

I remember this from last year Dawn it is spreading and looks very attractive :o)

Obviously loving where its planted,its grown so much since last year, love it!

Gives a great colourful display.

It has spread alot to be fair. I did move pieces to other trees last year but I cannot see any life on their roots. I like it because its unusual and flowers early.
