Never seen a tree one this early in my garden, i tell a lie I saw a P. Lutea one opening earlier in the day cricked my neck looking up to it.

It does look purply in this picture 3d agree but not it real life its a very very bright pink :-), huge flowers size of a dinner plate.
Looking back on my picture from last year Dawn yes they do, much earlier than the perennial ones.
I keep forgetting how early it still us we've had such lovely weather .
I live in the Costa del Lincolnshire Brian lol ;-)
