Aren't you just so glad sometimes for a mildish winter, I grew these from seed last year they grew so big I planted them all out in the wood forgetting they weren't hardy, nearly dug them up again in October, but luckily they all survived and now have buds!!

I am not familiar with this plant and had to google it. What a nice plant .....but probably not hardy enough on Vancouver Island as I cannot see it in GC's.

Very unusual, I had to do a google as well, but I do like it.

Thanks 3d must have been sheltered in the wood luckily ,mind you they did have a covering of snow a couple of times.
I've never seen it in GC's here either Klahanie a member on another site sent me the seeds, according to the RHS its not frost hardy but you can dig up the plant and overwinter in a frost free greenhouse, looking at mine they're maybe hardier than thought, I will be collecting seed this year just in case :-)
