Tall bearded Iris 'Sultan's Palace 34", chestnut brown/red with a velvety texture and yellow beard. Schreiner creation 1977, parentage unknown.

Think this is a rogue red, and not Sultans Palace. It is difficult to be sure that the name of the Iris you order is what you are sent. Sultans Palace is just flowering and smaller and more like its description.
