Because of the heavy rain, this poor shrub had to be reduced dramatically......

Thanks Karen, Siris the weight of the flowers with all the rain was ruining the shrub, so I had to prune a lot of branches, broke my heart lol

It still looks good after your prune. Apparently Ceanothus not that long lived, my Ceanothus lasted about 10 years.

I love the colour of this. Mine died a couple of years ago so now I enjoy my neighbours when it pops over the fence :)
