Stunning choice!

Thank you for thinking so Sheila. I also read somewhere that this is one of the more "elegant" trees :-) So we will see what will happen in 3-4 years.

You really have great taste in choice plants. I can see their isn't much, if any, drop off in interest from the exotics of Lake Chapala.

I'm liking those temperate plants. They grow here,I just never seen a yard like yours.

I do have a neighbor with Colorado Blue Spruce with Avocado and Washy palm...!

:-) Thanks Stan. I would love to grow something more exotic but I have lots of wildlife here (deer, rabit, bear...) which love to eat it so I am limited to plants which they do not favour. Exotic plants are very expensive for just a trial. But I found many nice plants which I can grow here and having everybody around.... or have to protect then somehow. I noticed a fig tree in the garden center and thought I might give it a try. It has a exotic looking leaf and I love figs . Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
