There lovely, are they an indoor plant?

All very nice balcony....

Amaryllis can be grown outside when it's frost free. In fact they need a period of cold to flower well. But temps below freezing will kill them. Mine spent at least 6 months of the year on the allotment - from May to October - & most years a month or two on the balcony before going down to the allotment in mid-May.
