WOW, Khlanie, it only seems like a few weeks ago you had snow. I guess because of your short growing season, things grow a lot quicker, than here in the UK. We are still SLOWLY moving out of spring. Maybe we will be able to take our sweaters off next week ... lol.

Thanks Bjs.
LOL Alan. We hardly ever get snow on Vancouver Island. Not this winter. We are Banana belt of Canada.
Actually, similar climate of Southern UK. Is that why we have so many Brits around(?) We love you guys. LOL.

My hubby loves gooseberry jam and gooseberry pie. We used to have a couple of gooseberry bushes when we lived down the road and had a bigger garden. No room in this little garden. My sister usually bring him a couple of jars of jam when she visits.

Thanks everyone for your comments.
I would do the same thing Amy.
It is interesting that gooseberries and currents are not popular on this continent. We have to grow our own . We cannot find it for sale anywhere.

Is not it Amy? Especially that they are so many Europeans living here.
My Canadian hubby will not eat them :-) They are all mine. Yummy.
