Yes Amy, love the Sem at this time of year, not so much later when they start suckering. Hi Sheila, one of my favourites too and I took a cutting from it a couple of years ago and that's in flower now too. I want mine to get tall like yours where it is. Hopefully it will .

Dawn - good thinking - you've inspired me to try cuttings of mine. No idea why I hadn't thought of that before! Good luck with yours growing taller . . .

I've only had ONE sucker from the Sems, so that's been dug up and planted elsewhere: handy :)

Hi Sheila. I usually take my cuttings the third week in July, thats what my dear Dad taught me. I find viburnums and weigla take easy. Sems are handy for suckeriing themselves if you need more : )

That's very kind Dawn, but I really don't need more . . . I would only give them away (I meant that suckering isn't a problem here!). I'll try to remember late July for trying cuttings of the viburnum . .

I have a young one growing in the garden now, in flower actually which was a cutting from this one. Kathy - could you squeeze one in if I get more going.
