Never noticed any mildew on mine DD.

Karen - do you grow euonymus 'Silver Queen'? I've found it's the perfect host for Arabella.

Thanks Andrew...I have lots of Euonymus here, and you have me thinking...I wonder what it would be like with one of the more golden vars? I can imagine it with Silver Queen too. In fact, I think mine at the last garden was planted in front of a Silver Queen....can't quite recall now. Amazing how quickly I forget things that once meant so much to me.

Karen - I'll be posting a photo of mine in a few days so you can gauge the effect. The first flowers are just opening now.
