Salvia ..Wendy's wish ...

Pretty. Does it develop in to a paler pink as it opens? I bought a couple of Pineapple Sage plants for my herb garden last week. The scent from the leaves is beautiful. I hope they flower As they have scarlet flowers. I love Salvia!

I think if anything the colour goes a little deeper round the edges Karen , I love the Salvia to ,The Pineapple sage is gorgeous I have one that smells of Blackcurrant I can't remember its name off hand , we are lucky we have a wonderful herb center near us ,

I would love that Amy. I can't resist herbs...I would just love a garden on the continent to grow herbs in and be able to smell them without having to crush them in my hand first! I'm thinking Cyprus, or The South of France!

Oh Karen what a shame I didn't know you wanted a Pineapple sage we have several which we will sell on our open day, but you could have had one....we grow lots of herbs, ideal here...

Never mind Angela. It was a total impulse buy on the four for a tenner herb stand at the GC. I needed a couple of herbs but ended up with four...as you do! It was only today that I discovered the bloomin thing is tender and I shall have to dig it up and put in pots. Thats what happens when you impulse buy at GC! Tut tut....

Whoa! Mine croaked and yours is almost in bloom! Life is cruel.

Sorry Keith I'll save you some seed :o) Angela / Karen , I wish you could visit our local herb center its amazing try Googling Norfolk Herbs Dillington you will see what I mean the list is endless they have everything you could possible want and are usually at most shows .. 5 mins from me ...

In all the years that I've grown it I've never seen seed on it. Don't tell me yours does that as well!!!!!
