Aquilegias everywhere :-), we've been away for a week and the gardens a jungle!!

That really looks nice! I haven't tried anything like this - just a bunch of trees for windbreaks and lots of weeds.

Yep that's it Dawn, that's on the slope of the hill,really must give the ceonothus a prune after flowering its mental lol.
Must be difficult Wylie knowing what will stand up to your strong winds, everything tall needs staking here so heaven knows what it's like for you !!

Its done so well. The good thing about elder is they dont mind a good prune. My ceonothus is getting too big for its boots too.

It has Dawn but a while before it gets as good as yours :-) I haven't dared prune my 'Black Lace ' and when you see the picture in a week or so you all see that lol, its a monster!!!!
