Hosta 'Fire & Ice'

I'm thinking that this is the one I inherited here. I've split it and now its all over the garden. It didn't suffer too much last year until the autumn.

I have this one too, but mine hasn't put up any flowers this year yet. The leaves are pretty anyway.

That's good news Karen ... I do get cross when they begin to look tatty so early on. I shall have to speak nicely to the two Frogs in the pond ... get them on a slug hunt!

I agree Cinders ... very attractive leaves. Have you had the rain that was forecast for today? We had a five minute downpour early afternoon, that's all though.

Yes, we have had some rain on and off since lunch time, not heavy, but we could do with some really.

We certainly could, preferably during the night! I have to keep watering the pots of Runner Beans and Sweet Peas, plus the hanging baskets. Not too much of a chore really. :o)

I have put copper tape round my pots Shirley and stood the pots on legs and its working up to now !

Now that's something I have never tried Rose ... pleased it works for you though :o)
