Nearly summer so been outside playing and snapping

Barbara, your garden is looking amazing...have you been having the summer that's missed most of us?

its very cold out there tonight, but not been bad most of the time, we are clay soil so it retains moisture very well. We did get quite a lot of rain last weekend but we have been quite dry this side of the country. According to a friend who monitors the rain fall we have had more than average but he said it came in one off showers/downpours. And even though he lives about 5 miles away as the crow flies it sometimes rains nearer the Trent where he is than higher up here where we are.
Today is the first day I have managed to get out with energy and work all morning cutting grass and tidying up the borders, which enjoyed the process as did I. Thank you so much for looking in and enjoying the picture. :O)

thank you Rose, but I do not mow around them just over them they are sunk in to the level of the grass so its easy peasy really lol :O)
