My garden is quite small, and I have had 2 for some years.

Yeah Siris...sorry i meant it got too big for me! Its a lovely plant, and I regretted removing it for years afterwards. But I am only now beginning to enjoy herbaceous perennials. I find the idea of a plant that disappears for 6 months of the year quite a challenge! ;)

I understand what you mean Ck, but I can't imagine having to wear my vest for 6 months. Lol!!

Lol! Here, we wear ours for 8 months!! :))

If it was as cold here as in Scotland, mine would not come off! Soft Southerners!

Well, mines back on now. And at this rate we will be lucky to be Without semmets for two months this year!

Ck, you can tell I am a Southerner, had to google 'Semmet' a Scottish medieval cloth.

More commonly used to refer to a vest Siris. :)

Mmm, trying to remember the name of the sleeveless over vests our Mums, used to make us wear as kids. Got it - liberty bodice!! Tell my age, Uh!

Its so funny how the English nick names for things are so posh! And Scots ones are anything but! :)) i can say this as an Englishwoman/'absorbed Scot'!

The word 'vest' is the most boring! Like semmet, see if I can get that into a conversation, in Mid summer?
