Daylily 8 just retrieved from the weeds, without water for weeks, it's amazing it's alive let alone flowering.
Most have name labels but I took the pics and left list of names at nursery. What a numpty I am!!

I have nothing in my garden that would carry on like these daylilies. They are in rubbish soil, have had no water since god knows when,were being strangled and suffocated by weeds, yet still they carry on and flower. Absolutely amazing. I have never come across a more resilient bunch.

I've thrown one in the compost before (far to much of it) and found it growing in there the following year one of the black plastic ones too so no light !!
Only ever lost one and that was the really cold winter, it was a new one knew it'd been imported from warmer climes so should have mulched it my fault.
