Cornflowers – Mountain Rose

This looks a bit like a cornflower to me. Lovely.

You are right Linda (as usual), This is Cornflower - another name it goes by; thank you!

Centaurea cyanus, commonly known as cornflower, bachelor's button, bluebottle, boutonniere flower, hurtsickle or cyani flower, is an annual flowering plant in the family Asteraceae, native to Europe.

I was nice as Bachelor's Button. I could quite imagine a gentleman with a buttonhole of these in the lapel of his jacket,

that sounds familiar.
