This summer has been warmer and wetter than the last and things have done well, Sandra. I've seen a couple of blogs from Hywel, with regard to rain on his lovely patch and wondered about his succulents and cacti... how have yours managed with all the rain? like everyone..some things are thriving here and some things aren't... The Old Farmers Almanac is promising us a COLD winter...but the weather network people are talking about a stronger than usual El Nino effect from the equatorial Pacific Ocean, which should bring us much milder temps than usual. It is my suspicion that the El Nino effect will be with us to the end of December and it will be as cold as last winter from Jan. to April...:-(( I shudder with dread.
