I thought perhaps this was a Burnet Moth...but im not sure...

It could be a Cinnabar, we get a lot of these down south.... they are similar colouring?

Yes its a Cinnabar we have a lot of them here they thrive on Ragweed which is becoming a huge nuisance as its so poisonous !
