Bought from a nursery Dd recommended. Really like the apricot flowers with the blue stamens, sophisticated, but frost tender.

I do like that, especially the colour....

Thank Dd, and for the recommendation. Was just starting to flower before we when away, so when I saw corms on sale on Hols, bought a white and a pink, but they could not tell me the species, just kept repeating Watsonia! But since only 70p each, cheaper than an ice cream!

Thanks Simbad, I am really pleased with it, am going to put a sheet of glass over it for the winter.

Well how could you not at 70p....I had been looking at them online for some time, as you know we grow quite a lot of NZ plants.....good luck with them..

Apparently they will start making roots in Autumn, but I have put them in individual pots 4" down and watered the compost lightly.

Very pretty. I planted some Watsonia 2 years ago and it never bloomed. Mine is yellow , if I remember correctly.
